Waitlist, applications and voting

When you join the waitlist, apply as an alpha tester or cast a vote, we process your email address, your first and last name and, if you provide it, your company. For votes we also store which feature you voted for.

We use this to keep you posted by email about your sign-up and the launch of trybe, to review applications and to count each vote only once. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

We use double opt-in: after you submit the form, you receive an email with a confirmation link. We only write to you once you click it; if you don’t confirm, the link expires after 14 days. As proof we store the time, your IP address and the version of the consent text.

The data is stored in the trybe platform; confirmation and update emails are sent through an email service provider. We keep it until you withdraw your consent.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future — via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to johannes@metacells.com
