Terms of Service

1. Provider and scope

trybe is software by metacells GmbH ("we"). These terms apply to the use of trybe.so and all trybe apps by businesses, freelancers and their teams ("you"). trybe is not offered to consumers.

If your company has a separate contract with us, that contract prevails; these terms apply in addition.

2. What trybe does

trybe is a platform where brands plan and do their work, including planning, approving and publishing social media content, analysing results, talking to customers and automating workflows. Which apps you can use depends on your agreement with us.

3. Account and access

You need an account, created by us or by an admin of your brand. Keep your credentials secret and tell us if you suspect misuse. Your brand's admins decide who on the team has which rights.

4. Connections to other platforms

You can connect trybe to accounts on other platforms such as Instagram and Facebook (Meta), YouTube (Google), TikTok or Shopify. trybe then acts on your behalf, for example when it publishes a post or reads statistics. The terms of those platforms apply in addition, and you comply with them.

By connecting YouTube to trybe you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service: youtube.com/t/terms

You can disconnect an account in trybe at any time or revoke access in the settings of the platform.

5. Your content

Content you create or upload in trybe remains yours. You grant us the rights we need to store and process it and to publish it where you tell trybe to.

You make sure you hold the necessary rights to your content (for example to music, images and people shown) and that it complies with the law and with the rules of the platforms you publish it on.

6. What is not allowed

You do not use trybe to send spam, infringe the rights of others, distribute malware, circumvent security measures or overload the platform. If you do, we may suspend your access.

7. Availability and changes

We keep developing trybe and may change, add or discontinue features. We aim for high availability but cannot promise uninterrupted access, also because connected platforms may fail or change their interfaces.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential obligations and limited to the foreseeable, typical damage.

9. Ending use

You can stop using trybe at any time. On request we export your data per product and then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.

10. Changes to these terms and governing law

If we change these terms, we tell you in advance. German law applies; place of jurisdiction is the registered office of metacells GmbH where legally permitted.
